The KéKAY Method Kids Club, Magellan’s onsite after-school program, has far exceeded our family’s expectations! Alétia Ferreira, a former Magellan parent, is so kind and skilled with thekids. She runs a wonderful program with the perfect balance of planned enrichment activities and unstructured time for free play and physical activity. Our active twin boys, Andy and Will, have begun to forge meaningful friendships with other students in KéKAY Club and look forward to going every day. In fact, at least 2-3 times a week, one of them will ask if they can stay longer/we can pick them up later – a true testament, in our book, of a successful program!
Overall, it’s been a win-win for our family. Our kids come home with most, if not all of their nightly homework complete, they are worn out from burning energy with their friends in the club, and best of all, they are thriving and happy! Highly recommend the KéKAY Method Kids Club. Hands down, one of the best decisions we’ve made since joining Magellan.

We are so grateful for the KéKAY Kids Club at Magellan! It has been the perfect program for our family. My son looks forward to it every day — he enjoys the opportunity to unwind after school, finish his homework, and participate in engaging activities. Our family has had a terrific experience with the KeKay aftercare program this year. Our daughters look forward to going to KeKay. They have an opportunity to get their homework done and play with friends. They really enjoy the fun and educational activities that set KeKay apart from a typical aftercare program.

As a parent, I am glad I made the decision to enroll my daughter in the KeKay program despite not "needing" an after-school resource. From the first day, Ms. Aletia has been amazing from the pre-enrollment communications to the immediate level of care shown. The weekly bulletin emails are short but informative, showing the different ways that community/social awareness and personal growth concepts are woven into the program activities. This is the first time my daughter has genuinely enjoyed an aftercare program, let alone complained about being picked up "too early." While it's bittersweet that this will be her first and last year in the program (being in 5th grade), words can't express my thankfulness to Ms. Aletia for providing this environment!

Our son has been in the Keykay program after school this year and it has been fantastic. The activities are creative and fun. The blend of learning and fun has been a wonderful fit and he truly enjoys his time with the staff and his friends.
